The newly established Hotel AC by Marriott in Santa Cruz, Tenerife, boasts 83 rooms and is set to create around 30 jobs. Having undergone a complete transformation of the former Maya shopping center over a two-year period, the hotel opened its doors on March 13 and celebrated its official inauguration on March 17. This four-star hotel marks the first of its kind for the AC Hotels chain in Tenerife and features modern amenities, including a welcoming reception area, a store, a gym, and a rooftop terrace equipped with a swimming pool, restaurant, and cocktail bar. Notably, all decorative items within the hotel are for sale, adding a unique twist to the guest experience.
Yudith Guanich, AC Hotels' representative in the Canary Islands, highlighted that customers can purchase any decorative piece they admire, turning their stay into a more personalized experience. Furthermore, the hotel is actively searching for a name for its terrace bar and restaurant located on the sixth floor and plans to engage the community through a social media contest to select the name.
