Spark Cleantech secures €30 million in Series A funding to advance its innovative technology for decarbonizing high-temperature industrial heat.

Target Information

Spark Cleantech, founded in 2022 as a joint initiative of CentraleSupélec and CNRS, is at the forefront of addressing the critical challenge of decarbonizing high-temperature industrial heat, which has long relied on hydrocarbon combustion. The company has pioneered a unique process called pulsed plasmalysis, designed to operate between existing gas networks and industrial burners, transforming hydrocarbons without combustion. This innovation positions Spark as a leader in the transition to sustainable industrial practices.

Recently, Spark Cleantech has announced the successful closure of a €30 million Series A funding round, capturing €17 million in equity. The fundraising was led by 360 Capital and Taranis, with participation from Innovacom and historical investor Asterion Ventures. This investment paves the way for Spark to scale up operations and prepare for the commercial rollout of its first production module by the end of 2027.
